Affordable Housing
I am not the first, nor will I be the last to believe that people should have the freedom to live where they work, yet many people who work in Commerce City can no longer afford to live here. Affordable housing directly impacts our neighbor's ability to meet other critical needs, such as health care, childcare and food insecurity. As your councilwoman I will: ​

Lead a strategic plan focused on reducing the rising housing costs in our community while ensuring a larger percentage of available housing is affordable for median income earners.

Establish an affordable housing program to attract teachers, first responders and other essential service professionals to live and work in our city.

Develop support resources to help seniors and neighbors with disabilities maintain their housing.

Foster the values of equity and inclusion in our already diverse Commerce City community.
